I had an opportunity, on a Friday afternoon, to have my GMC Canyon maintenance (oil, tire rotation, etc.) service. While I was waiting, I found out that a GMC recall of my emergency brake was required. A separate item was a personal mail scam of my extended warranty. I visited with my salesman, and he got with the finance manager and they researched my GMC Easy-Care extended warranty is satisfactory. Thanks to all!

Once again I brought my vehicle in for servicing because the engine light was blinking on and off. The service consultant stated that the injectors needed changing they werenāt responding the way that t was supposed to and he changed 2 the first time, well left the Friday and the Saturday afterwards the light came back on and I did a survey the Monday afterward and the service consultant Vince call and ask me to bring it back in the Friday afterwards so I did and the changed another injector and he stated in the paperwork after the service was completed that I need to put a fuel injection cleaner to clean the injector out because I would be back for the same situation with the injectors if not doing the fuel injection cleaner, but little that he knows if it was the injector then the problem still exists and if that was the case the engine light would not have come back on the very next day, so either he thinks Iām stupid or maybe he figures Iām incompetent but itās either and he know that itās the engine lifters that is the problem and only 8 were change instead of changing all 16 of them, so what Iām going to do call GM Service Affairs and let them do an investigation upon this problem which Iāve been having since over a year and let them decide on what is best and let them bring an engineer here to look at the problem because I promise you 2things Iām not spending another dollar on this and Iāll let it completely break and let someone else deal with the problem that has occurred for over a year when they know the problem is the lifters. Iām so disappointed in a 70000.00 truck that GM doesnāt want to fix but they want the consumer to buy. Iāll let everyone know how pitiful they are and Iāll let Easy Care know also to look into this before they spend another dime on the same situation whereas the problem is them.

I was in a tough spot. We were on vacation from the Atlanta area, passing through Lafayette when the engine blew in my 2014 Sierra. I limped my truck to Courtesy GMC less than 2 miles from where my engine acted up. I pulled into the service shop without calling ahead. A service representative named Drake came up to me, listened to my situation and said that he would immediately get my truck into diagnosis. About an hour later, I got a call from Drake saying that I had a sruck lifter and possibly a bad cam shift. It was going to take at least 12 days and would cost between $3,600-$7,500. I was stuck wondering how I was going to get my truck fixed, get back to Atlanta with my wife and dog and how I was going to get back to Lafayette to get my truck once it was repaired. In asked Drake if there was any good salesman that he trusted that would not try to take me for a ride in my tough situation. That salesman was Waldo. Waldo worked hard for a day and a half with me to get me set up with a great price and into a brand new truck. He worked with the managers to maximize my trade in value on my truck with a broken engine. I never thought that I would be buying a new truck while on vacation but it make the most sense in my situation.
