I went to the dealership for a morning appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. It was suggested that I get the recommended 30,000 mile service work done on my 2017 Buick Enclave. I agreed for the dealership to do the work, but the work took much longer than I expected. What I thought would take a few hours ended up taking 2 days. I needed my vehicle for a meeting the night of the service and was upset when I was told that my vehicle would not be ready that day. The dealership did make it right by giving me a loaner vehicle for the night so I could make my meeting. I was pleased that they did this but wished that that the communication with me was better. I had to call several times to find out the status of my vehicle. If I had known how long it would take to get the recommended service work done, I would not have had the work done that day, only the oil change and tire rotation, which usually takes an hour or so.
