10:30 appointment for an oil change. 2:30 hard deadline to need the car back. After calling to check on it twice, they were just getting to it at 2:30. They didn't even finish the job when I had to rush out of there after 2:45 to try to make it where I needed to be. Uncool doesn't begin to describe the unacceptable nature of how that visit went. This was also a well known problem because other service advisors were well aware of the issues I was having as a normal problem. That's not a great way to retain a customer who has purchased his last 6 vehicles from the same place.

I’m disgusted with the service team. My son brought his 2021 gmc canyon in to have an oil change and the service advisor told him he was due for the premium 5,000 mile oil change and he was told if he opt. to not get it his 75,000 mile transmission warranty would be void. Hint(my dealer informed me afterwards there is no 75,000 mile transmission warranty on his vehicle) I expect lies to up charge customers at a 5minute oil change not at the dealership.

When my wife and I first arrived at the dealership to look at the new Buicks, we expected to be greeted by a "High Pressure" salesperson trying to make a deal on the spot. What we experienced was the exact opposite. Isaiah Miller approached us very casually and asked if he could show us anything in particular. He was very knowledgeable about the new units on the lot, and was very patient while showing us around. My wife has issues with walking, so that was important to us. We worked with Mr. Miller for about two weeks, going back and forth, test drives and trying to decide which model of Buick we would finally go with. All the while Mr. Miller was very calm and easy going, no pressure. When we finally agreed on the Envision Avenir, Isaiah made the whole transaction completely smooth and relaxed for us. Very positive experience, and I look forward to a long relationship with Courtesy Buick GMC.

The service adviser that handled my vehicle did not check one of the items I discussed with him for service. I also called earlier during the day and reminded him he said he hadn’t got with service manager. When I picked it up I asked again if he looked at it and he told me the service manager had left for the day but he would call me tomorrow. It’s been a week now and I still haven’t heard back. This is the second visit with this service adviser that I am not satisfied with the way he handled my service. It was so bad the first time a month ago on my Canyon that I didn’t fill out your survey because I contacted the Service Manager.I am really discourage with the service I am getting I talked to the Service Manager the last time I brought my Canyon for service and he is aware of the issues I had on my Canyon and the issues on my Buick that the service adviser was suppose to get with him on.

Poor experience. Salesman unorganized. Finance department had a random address (instead of my correct, home address) listed for me on every single document. I had to personally request my $2000 deposit back (which I was told was going to be applied to my down payment, but discovered this was a lie after reviewing my paperwork). Only one individual there was helpful, and I believe that his name is KORY MHIRE. As of this writing, no plans to recommend Courtesy GMC to friends or family looking to make a new purchase.

My truck has been in shop 15 times in the last year, about 5 times at Courtesy. I was told truck was ready, paid bill and got a call back saying don’t go to pick it up because it wouldn’t start. Instead of fixing the problem each time, they blame it on a bad battery with bad cells. I get truck home, and it leaves me stranded again. It’s not the battery, because it starts when it wants to. They charge me but never figure out the issue.

Sales dealing was good. Salesman said my vehicle would be showroom detailed upon pickup. It wasn’t. When I picked it up, salesman oriented me to the vehicle very well. Then told me I needed to drive to Cornerstone Glass to get the inspection sticker or bring it back the next day and he would do it. I felt there was plenty of time (4 hours) for the salesman to have done this before vehicle pickup. After getting home I noticed 3 issues. I took pics, emailed them to the salesman with detailed information about what the issues were. Returned the vehicle to the dealership the next day at 9am. No communication with me that day about issues resolution progress. The day after I returned the vehicle, still no communication about progress from the salesman. I called service and was told my vehicle was in queue to be looked at and she would call me after it had been seen. She did call back and told me that 1 issue was done, a part or kit was ordered for the second one. But the third issue was a problem with the bed and it needed to go to a paint and body shop. At this point, I didn’t know what exactly was to be done and decided I didn’t want that vehicle anymore. I tried to speak with the salesman be couldn’t reach him. I asked to speak with a manager. I explained everything to the manager. He said he would find out what was going on and call me back. He responded back in a timely manner and explained what exactly was to be done and with no painting required but alignment of the tailgate. By the end of our conversation, the manager had communicated with me clearly about what was to be done, gave a timeline for delivery of the vehicle back to me and that it would be detailed correctly before delivery. Scheduled appointment at 0800, was there before they opened, didn’t receive my truck back till 0930. Requested oil change and tire rotation. At that time, service advisor told me I needed an alignment. Truck will be three years old in August since purchase, might have another 15k miles on tires, said I would let him know. Truck just cross threshold at 50k miles, need to service your transmission, ok. Your air filter and cabin filter are dirty and need replacing. I have always ran K&N filter and was told that it’s not the best option with newer vehicles. Ok will do more research. After being first person there and still waiting 1.5 hours for an oil change till bothers me. Go to truck crank it, change oil soon message appears. I was at 8% when arrived and still there when I picked up. Questioned but hey they forgot, but it pops up on the screen. Let it go and reset it myself. Then was told they ran it through the carwash. I had freshly blasted metal in the bed that I was going to be priming that afternoon for a job. Well that’s ruined. Today I noticed my tires had not been rotated like asked for. Not sure if it was because of alignment, but I paid for it. I have a missing locking lug, that was not brought up. I have had other bad experiences with routine maintenance here, don’t plan on coming back other than warranty work.

The service was 2 hours waiting for an oil change the seats were laid back like someone slept in them. One of the other service continually checked on me the original service advisor only came out after being asked. The other service advisor had to let the original advisor that I needed my paper work so I could leave . The original service advisor stated that there were issues in the back area as to why it took 2 hours for the oil changes. This was just not the normal service I usually get very disappointing.

In general service went well. The only issue was when arriving for service, I showed the service rep their email which promoted a free multipoint inspection and car wash with the purchase of an oil change. I left my truck there. When the service rep called me to tell me it was ready, I specifically asked if the multipoint inspection and car wash had been done. The answer was yes. I returned, paid for the service and when I picked up the truck, it was obviously not washed. This was the second time this happened.

Oil change and tire rotation went great as expected. I also reported that the air conditioner was not working. A seal was found leaking and it was repaired. I noticed the next day that the air conditioner was not blowing cold so I called the service advisor to make note of it and that I would bring the truck back as soon as I could.

The guy that work with me may have been the shop manager, but he was truly professional, but the problem still exists and I wouldn’t buy another vehicle from this dealership ever and any of my family members or my company I work for or any of my co-workers. GM has poor core values and needs to reevaluate the way they do things. Courtesy Motors know the vehicle is bad but they aren’t doing the paperwork to make it known as to where they needs to do what is right in black and white to make this process work better and I can get another vehicle with them and start all over again.

I went in for a oil change. That went great but they washed my truck. The car wash knocked my shark fin off my truck. I went back the next day which was Saturday and the nice service lady said someone would call me on Monday. It's Wednesday still no phone call.

I took my truck in because my AC unit was not getting cold. My service advisor, Kameron Stelly, checked me in and was very professional. Due to them replacing my compressor, they had to keep my truck overnight. My compressor was under warranty. Kameron kept me advised every step of the way. His leadership team, Mr. Donny Williams, was able to provide me with a loaner for one day until my truck was ready. The loaner provided me transportation to and from work. All in all, I was very pleased with the work and professionalism of Courtesy GMC Lafayette.

This is the 3rd time in a row that my experience was terrible. First time I went in for basic oil change and a tech left a filter wrench near my radiator. Second time I went get mt thermostat replaced and they left the old one under my hood where the battery goes on the driver's side. Yesterday I went pick up my truck from having the condenser coil replaced. When I got in and turned on the AC it made a noise. So I went get Ashley and she got a mechanic and he heard it too. He was the one who worked on it. So now I have to go back at a later date so it can be fixed. After I get that fixed I will never go back there are buy a vehicle from Courtesy.

No problems, called and luckily got an appointment the same day. Took the car at desgnitated time. Dealership, perform a though check of systems and found an additional tie sensor out. Replace both of them, programmed everythiing and we got the car back in about 3 hrs.

Our 2022 GMC Sierra is subject to an engine recall. The truck stopped on us multiple times - all reported to courtesy. We requested that the engine be checked and the resolution given. The service team notified us that they have no way of checking for the recall issue. Other gmc dealers across the country are checking and determining if there are issues with this model. We have purchased a lemon from CourtesY GMC not even courtesy wants to deal with nor give us straight answers.

Went in for oil change and check engine light was on. The oil change took longer than I expected and then they were able to check into the engine light and found that the glow plugs needed to be replaced so I had to leave my truck overnight but at least they were still under warranty

During my most recent appointment, my service experience at Courtesy Buick GMC was not a pleasant one. Initially I inquired about an error message that displayed on my dashboard. I was advised to make an appointment for a technician to look at it. Arrived for my appointment, a different advisor assisted me, however spoke about the time frame would be a long wait and they May or may not be able to get it today, gave scenarios of keeping it overnight, however she fell to mention the most important thing “estimated fees” and payment options. I waited about two (2) hours to be told what was wrong. Keep in mind my car is brand new with the existing warranty and I purchased the additional number to bumper warranty as well. The advisor (can’t recall her name) was not professional, rushed through and read invoice as if I’m a number on the waitlist and or a valued GMC owner. Rushed through the document, when I inquired about things she mentioned she seemed on edge and present an attitude. That is NOT customer service!!! Tried to explain to her I was clueless as to what gibberish she was saying, but her attitude was terrible. I am suppose to leave reviews online of my recent visit, which was not great one at all. Totally disappointed with the service department, if that’s how the employees represent it shame on them) or the dealership as a whole. Giving off negative vibes is unacceptable: we (customers) should be tested with utmost respect and dignity, but my experience was completely opposite.

I am very pleased with the service I received recently. Staff was very friendly and responsive. I only had one small issue involving a smudge of dirt or grease on the drivers side armrest which I didn't notice until I arrived home. I have white interior, so it is probably easier to stain, but I was able to remove it using Fantastik and a little elbow grease. Otherwise everything was awesome.

Very professional and knowledgeable people. My vehicle had a transmission fluid leak which was detected during an oil change at Courtesy. I brought it in to have the leak repaired and it was done within a day, which was more quickly than I expected. I was provided with the use of a loaner car in the interim and in both leaving and retrieving the vehicle was in and out very quickly. Thank you to all the staff who have never been any less than completely wonderful to deal with in all situations. I recommend Courtesy to all of my friends and family and plan to continue dealing there for all vehicle related needs.

truck was in the shop for 87 days waiting for a part. due to this being a warranty claim, i was given a substandard rental. Almost no communication from the shop (local dealership) during the time it was in. I've been a loyal GMC customer since the early 2000's. I question the quality of the product GMC has made, and I have experienced the ability to support the product they make. I have a hard time understanding why a company like GMC took 3 months to get my truck repaired.

Well got their, their was no one to check me in, Alvin Helaire came ask me if someone had help me, l told him no. And he stated he would get someone to help. Very nice gentleman, the person that came to help me, didn't say how can l help me, she stated are you waiting for Vick, told her what l was their for. Didn't get her name, which l usually asked. But should have introduced herself. My wait time was 1 1/2 hours which was not bad l guess for a oil change scheduled. Overall great visit.

I had a planned appointment which I was there early and the dealer took 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. When I asked about the warranty on my paint job, he told me I would have to go to some body shop. The warranty is with the dealership not this body shop. They washed my car and did not dry it and it was all spotted when I had washed to the day before!!

Oil change and tire rotation went well But when it came to the 1 inch dent and scratch on my tailgate, I was told that they would not fix it I do have the easy policy so they then told me to go to a body shop down the road called Robbie‘s and he said he did not accept the easy policy and gave me a quote for $784 to fix. When I bought the truck, they told me any scratch a dent they would fix. Don’t know what to do now.

I brought the vehicle in to get serviced cause of some sencor lights on the dash I told my advisor to also look into the tire sensor. I brought the truck in on October 22 2025 and the diesel mechanic didn’t start working on it till October 24 2025 my adviser called me on October 27 2025 to let me know the vehicle was ready. I went to pick it up on October 28 2025 and ask my advisor if they also fixed the tire sensors and he forgot to calabrate the tires and some tires wouldn’t calabrate so my advisor had to put it back in the shop to have that looked at again come to find out all the sensors were needing to be changed so I had to wait another 3 hours for that to get fixed I wasn’t to happy knowing my vehicle sat there for a week and I still had to wait after my advisor called me to let me know the service was done.

During my first visit (Invoice 720323) one of the issues addressed was a check engine light. During this visit the Evap Canister Vent Solenoid was replaced. Five (5) days and 40 miles later the check engine light reappeared. The vehicle was returned and this time (Invoice 720732) I was charged for the Evap Canister along with additional labor. I asked the Service Advisor if the check engine light issues were related and he insisted they were not. But the sensor replaced during the first visit fits directly into the canister replaced during the second visit. This leads me to believe either the original diagnostics was incomplete or the technician cracked the canister during sensor replacement. In either case the Service Advisor refused to answer the fact that these were related and insisted one had nothing to do with the other. And to further add insult to injury, I was told that Courtesy would not be charging me a diagnostic fee. I would think after the first 4k spent a full diagnostics would have been performed and I would not have to return in 5 days or 40 miles. And since we could not prove a misdiagnosis or damage caused by the technician I should not have been charged any labor hour on the second visit. As a courtesy as the name represents I probably should have been sold the canister at cost as well as there was the standing possibility that it was damaged by the technician during the initial repair. This was one of the poorest experiences I have had with total disregard for the customer. The service advisor refused to verify if the services were related and further insulted me by stating he would not charge a diagnostic fee after I drove the car 40 miles (10 of which was getting it back to the dealership for a second evaluation. Totally dissatisfied.

I was cold called by Elijah, a sales rep for the Courtesy dealership, due to a reference he received. He seemed very nice on the phone and very intelligent. So, I stopped by the dealership a few days later since I had business nearby. Elijah greeted me quickly and offered to help right away. He introduced himself and we shook hands. He brought me without delay to see what he had for me and it was exactly what I had described in our phone conversation. He was courteous, helpful and informative. When unsure about the answer to a question, he quickly checked with a verifiable source. After a detailed showing of the vehicle, Elijah and I went for a ride. It runs, rides and drives beautifully. I met his supervisor who was also very courteous and helpful. The finance manager, Ian was very informative and helped me a great deal. I ended up buying a really nice Sierra 2500 Denali Ultimate along with a few accessories. I feel like I am in the right place dealing with the right people. I even had a good experience in the service department with Kameron's help. Elijah also kept watch throughout the whole service and checkout process. He has already made a few follow up calls to check on me and my new vehicle experience. Thanks very much to all.

I do not like your waiter policy. I made an appt for my car, but also made arrangements for someone to pick me up to take me to store while waiting on car. I was told if I left I was not go showered a waiter and would come “after” the people who were waiting even tho they may have not made an appt! This policy really is unfair and sucks! If that’s the case there is no reason to make an appt and just drive up! It was my first visit with my new car there. My advisor was very nice and understanding about my situation and made it right, but I still don’t like your policy about it. Otherwise I have no complaints.

Got to my appointment, waited until someone was available, told them I had an appointment, looked it up in their computer, stated what my issue was. They asked if I purchased through there and if I knew who my warranty was with and if it was an extended warrenty. (I knew it was a belt issue due to the sound if it and it wouldnt be covered) Gave them my key and was told it would be a little while. Went sit down came about an hour later and told me it was going to be $432, that was the diagnostic fee, )which is was NEVER disclosed to me prior that there would be a diagnostic fee) the belt and the install fee. Left without getting it changed bc of the ridiculous diagnostic fee of $185 PLUS tax that I was stuck paying for, for an issue I knew what it was! Transparency is key in doing business, period and there was none until after the fact. Pretty disappointed

I brought my car in for an engine light on and was told it was coolant issue and the water pump needed to be changed out. A week later I went to pick it up and was told it was fixed and tested. Two days later all of the coolant in my car leaked out. I had to fill the coolant just to drive it back to the dealership. I was then told the part was faulty and would need to be changed again. The part was changed and I went to go pick it up two days later and there was coolant leaking from the car in the dealership parking lot. So I left the car to be looked at again for the third time, for the same issue. All this time I have been told there are no loaners or rentals available for me, which is very inconvenient for my husband and I. Highly dissatisfied with the service department

Rating reflects customer service. Amber was my service advisor for an oil change and tire rotation. After waiting an hour at the dealership waiting area, I walked to the service area and noticed my truck was ready. I was unable to find Amber and after questioning Ashely I learned Amber had went to lunch and I would need to talk to Tyler (I think thats his name). I walked across and to talk to Tyler and waited while he walk across to ask Ashley a question about my truck. He then comes and tells me the Ashley will handle for Amber. It was 11:15 when I noticed my truck was ready though I wonder how long it was just sitting there. Had I not checked I likely would have waited till 12:00 for Amber to return. Upon getting in my truck I noticed the plastic seat wrap and floor board paper were still in the truck. This experience did not meet my expectations to say the least. Tommy Domangue

They did a great job with my SUV, but they didn't have a rental for me to leave and go home. They had to keep my SUV over night. It made it hard to get home and back the next day. Just got a new SUV from you I hope if I have to leave it over night I will be able to get a rental to use to get home.
